The arabesque running through this hamsa is sawn out by hand, not cast and not stamped. Each opening is cut individually, which is why the pattern is not perfectly regular and why light passes through the piece rather than stopping at the surface. It takes a long time, and it is the reason the pendant reads differently from every angle.

At the center sits a 1.3 mm stone, a blue sapphire or a ruby, whichever you prefer.

Pendant: 20 x 13 mm.

- Solid gold, sawn by hand in my studio in Jerusalem. Choose 14K or 18K

- Yellow, white, or rose gold

- Blue sapphire or ruby at the center

White gold is rhodium-plated over solid gold, which is what gives it the bright white finish. The plating wears off with contact, but on a pendant it holds for years, far longer than a ring. Yellow and rose gold need nothing.

A note on the finish: every piece is first polished to a full shine, where any casting pore or imperfection shows. Only when the gold is clean is a matte finish applied, where the design calls for one. Many makers use a matte finish to hide flaws, so I do the opposite. A matte finish is available on request at no extra cost.
