A band that does not sit flat. The curve rises and falls once around the finger, which is what lets it sit against another ring without a gap between them.

Forty-five stones of about a point each, 0.45 carats in total, set pavé along the crest of the wave. The count and the weight shift slightly with size, because the spacing stays constant and a larger band has more of it to fill.

Setting them along the crest rather than across the flat is the whole point. On a curved band the light moves as the hand moves, running along the wave instead of flashing all at once.

It works stacked against an engagement ring, which is what the curve is for, and it works alone.

A note on the finish: every piece is first polished to a full shine, where any casting pore or imperfection shows. Only when the gold is clean is a matte finish applied, where the design calls for one. Many makers use a matte finish to hide flaws, so I do the opposite. A matte finish is available on request at no extra cost.

Black diamonds, rose gold, or another stone can be discussed. Tell me what you have in mind.
