Thirty-four natural diamonds, alternating all the way around. Seventeen marquise, 1.70 carats between them, and seventeen round brilliants, 0.17 carats, sitting between each pair of points. 1.87 carats in total.

The alternation is what makes this ring work. Marquise stones set side by side would touch at the points and fight each other. A round stone between every pair gives each marquise room to lie at its own angle, and the band reads as a continuous line rather than a row of separate stones.

The marquise are set lengthwise around the band, which elongates the finger. That is the effect a full eternity usually loses, because a ring that circles the finger tends to cut it visually. Here it does the opposite.

About sizing

A full eternity band cannot be resized. The stones run the whole way around, so there is no plain section of metal to cut into.

That is not a limitation to work around. It is why each ring is built for one size from the start: the number of stones and the spacing between them are calculated for that circumference, so the pattern closes cleanly instead of leaving a gap or crowding at the join.

The price shown is for size 7. A larger size needs more gold and more stones to keep the same spacing, so it costs more. Tell me your size and I will quote it exactly.

A different eternity

I make a second full eternity, Noi, in angled baguettes with small rounds between them.

The difference is not decorative. A marquise is faceted and pointed, so it throws light in every direction. A baguette has one long flat table and gives a cleaner, more architectural line. This ring has more movement. That one is quieter.
