Revi wanted a solitaire, and a solitaire is harder than it sounds. There is nothing to hide behind. The stone sits alone, and every proportion around it is visible.

A 3 carat oval lab-grown diamond, VS1 clarity and E colour, certified by IGL. Oval was the right cut for her hand. It runs along the finger rather than across it, so a stone this size reads as elegant rather than heavy.

Three small round brilliants on each side, 0.06 carats in total. They are not there to add weight. They carry the eye into the centre stone and keep the shoulders from looking bare.

The original was made in 14K yellow gold. It can be made again in yellow or white, in 14K or 18K.

With a natural diamond

The same ring can be made with a natural stone. I am not going to put a number on that here, because at this size the price moves enormously with clarity and colour, and any figure I printed would be misleading.

Tell me what you want to spend and I will tell you honestly what is possible at that number. Sometimes the answer is a slightly smaller stone with better colour, and sometimes it is the opposite. That conversation is part of the work.

A different centre stone entirely, a sapphire, an emerald, or a stone you already own, can also be discussed.
