A Soufflé baroque pearl of 52 x 25 mm, held along the line of an 18K
yellow gold bangle so that it lies across the wrist rather than sitting
on top of it. The nacre is thick and carries purple overtones that
shift with the light. Soufflé pearls form when the nucleus dissolves and
leaves a hollow shell, which is what allows a pearl at this scale to be
worn on the arm without weight.
