Four multi-colour baroque pearls, set in 18K gold with 0.52 carats of
natural cognac diamonds. The warm brown of the diamonds was chosen to
sit against the shifting colours in the pearls rather than compete with
them. The composition runs 102 x 35 mm and follows the pearls rather
than a fixed line, so it reads as movement across the lapel.

chain, so the brooch becomes a pendant, and the same piece can also be
worn as a headpiece.
