Forty-one natural diamonds around a full eternity band. Twenty-one baguettes set at an angle, and twenty small rounds of 1.3 millimetres between them. Approximately 1.6 carats in total.

The baguettes are not all the same size. They run larger at the front of the ring and taper toward the sides, which is what stops a row of rectangular stones from reading like a ladder.

Setting them on the diagonal rather than square to the band does the rest. A baguette has a long flat table, and set straight it reflects light in one flat sheet. On an angle each stone catches at a slightly different moment as the hand moves.

The small rounds between them are doing structural work as much as visual. They fill the triangle that opens between two angled baguettes, so the line stays continuous instead of showing metal gaps.

About sizing

A full eternity band cannot be resized. The stones run the whole way around, so there is no plain section of metal to cut into.

Each ring is built for one size from the start. The number of stones and the spacing between them are calculated for that circumference, so the pattern closes cleanly instead of leaving a gap at the join.

The price shown is for size 6.5. A larger size needs more gold and more stones, so it costs more. Tell me your size and I will quote it exactly.

A different eternity

I make a second full eternity, Celestial Symphony, in marquise and round diamonds instead of baguettes.

The difference is not decorative. A baguette has a flat table and gives a clean architectural line. A marquise is faceted and pointed, so it throws more light and visually lengthens the finger. This ring is the quieter of the two. That one has more movement.
