Arthropods, crabs, shrimp and their kin, wear their skeletons on the outside. A hard shell, hollow within, that protects the body and holds its shape long after the animal has moved on.

The pendant takes that idea as a single hollow nugget of gold, brushed so the surface stays soft and matte, with a 0.01 carat diamond at its center. It hangs on a rolo chain in the same gold, simple enough to wear every day and layer with other chains, or on its own.

It comes in two sizes: 8 by 9 mm, the same form as the Cushion Star Ring, and 11 by 12 mm, the nugget that also carries the Green Flame Lariat Necklace.

Two necklaces in 8 x 9 mm and one in 11 x 12 mm are finished and in the studio now, all in 14K yellow gold. Every other gold is made to order.

For the ears, the same nugget comes as the Requiem studs, in the same sizes.
