Porpoises often travel in pairs, rising to the surface side by side for a breath and sliding back under together, so close they seem to move as one.

The ring is worn across two fingers. Two open bands of gold sit side by side, each ending in a small hollow nugget, about 8 by 6 mm, brushed soft and matte, with a 0.01 carat diamond set into it, 0.02 carat for the two. Where the bands meet, a white freshwater pearl of 9 mm rises between the fingers on a short stem of gold, round and bright against the brushed nuggets on either side.

The bands are brushed on the outside and polished on the inside. Because both are open, each one can be adjusted a little to its own finger.

Every ring is made to order.
