A starfish in gold, 13 mm across, with a single white drop pearl hanging beneath it. The whole surface is worked in raised gold granules, the texture that runs through this collection, taken from what the skin of a starfish actually does under your thumb.

The pearl is a drop of 11 by 15 mm, and it moves a little as you do, which the gold alone would not. At the center of the starfish, where the arms meet, sits a single stone, a blue sapphire, a ruby or a diamond, about a point. Enough to catch and no more.

It is made as a set with the Starfish Ring and the Starfish Stud Earrings. The same pendant is also made without the pearl, as the Starfish Pendant.

One pendant is finished and in the studio now, in 14K yellow gold. Every other gold and stone is made to order.
