The yellowtail is an open water fish, fast and sleek, named for the band of yellow that runs along its body to the tail. This bangle takes its line from that: one clean stroke of gold around the wrist.

The bangle is open, and at each end sits a hollow gold nugget, 8 by 9 mm, each with a 0.01 carat diamond at its center. The nuggets are brushed so the surface stays soft and matte, and the band between them is polished, so the texture of the nuggets stands out against it. The two nuggets face each other across the opening, the same form that runs through the Cushion Star Ring, the Arthropod necklace and the Requiem earrings.

The band is solid gold, 2 mm, rigid enough to keep its shape and with just enough give to open slightly and slip over the wrist through the gap between the nuggets. Each bangle is made to the size you ask for.
