Two Keshi pearls, each about 11 by 9 mm, sitting one after the other at the ends of an open band. The band passes itself so the pearls come to rest side by side, like two vertebrae in a line. That is where the name comes from, and backbone is a good thing to have.

Every ring is made with pearls chosen from the ones in the studio at the time, so the pair you receive will not be the pair in the photograph. Keshi pearls form without a bead at their center, so each one is folded and irregular in its own way.

Each pearl is fixed directly to the gold, with nothing crossing the surface. The band is 1.5 mm, brushed on the outside and polished on the inside, and because it is open it can be adjusted by up to two sizes.

Made to order, and usually ready to ship within about a week.
