A white freshwater pearl of 12 mm, and on it a raw grey diamond of 1.40 carats, on a 45 cm rolo chain of 18K yellow gold. This piece is ready now.

The pearl is the Earth and the rough diamond is its moon. The name came from that, like most of the names in this collection.

There is no setting to speak of. The diamond is laser-drilled straight through. The bail passes down through the diamond and into the pearl, so one piece of gold holds both, and nothing else shows. The bail is left matte, so the light stays with the pearl and the stone.

The diamond is a natural rough crystal, uncut and unpolished. Its weight is what sets the price.

I make this series from my own stock of rough diamonds, in light grey, green, brown, yellow and black. The stock is limited, so the diamond on each pendant is its own. If you want one in a different colour or weight, or in white or rose gold, write to me, and I will show you what I have.

White gold is plated with rhodium, which fills the matte of the bail and softens it. Yellow and rose gold need nothing.
