A pair of Soufflé pearls, each 40 x 25 mm, set in 18K gold as clip
earrings. Soufflé pearls form when the nucleus dissolves and leaves a
hollow shell behind, which is why a pearl this large stays light enough
to wear. Their ridged, folded surfaces gave the pair its name. The
earrings weigh 30.44 grams in total.

Are these comfortable at this size? Yes. Soufflé pearls are hollow, so
they carry far less weight than their size suggests.

Do I need pierced ears? No. These are clip earrings.
