other 31 x 20 mm, chosen for their thick nacre and the purple overtones
that move across it in changing light. The asymmetry is deliberate: the
two pearls are not a matched pair but a duet, each holding its own
shape. Across the top, the ring measures 35.30 x 30.00 mm. The open form
is the design, not an adjustment.
