Two Keshi pearls, each about 11 by 9 mm, resting side by side where the two ends of an open band meet. Their edges lean into one another and the outline they make between them comes out as a heart. It was not planned that way, it is just what two pearls do when you put them together like this.

Choose them in white or in pink. Every ring is made with pearls chosen from the ones in the studio at the time, so the pair you receive will not be the pair in the photograph. Keshi pearls form without a bead at their center, so each one is folded and irregular in its own way, and the sizes vary a little around the average.

Each pearl is fixed directly to the gold, with nothing crossing the surface. The band is 1.5 mm, brushed on the outside and polished on the inside, and because it is open it can be adjusted by up to two sizes.

One ring is finished and in the studio now, in 14K yellow gold with pink pearls. Every other pearl and gold is made to order, usually ready to ship within about a week.
