Sculptural brooches, each made once. These are the pieces where the metal is given the most freedom, built by hand in solid 18K gold around baroque pearls and rough stones, with no attempt to make one side match the other.
A brooch is worn differently than a ring. It sits on fabric, at a distance, and can be read from across a room. That allows a scale and an asymmetry that would be unwearable on the hand.
