The desert as it actually is. Rough ground, wind-cut dunes, and forms that grew hard because nothing here is soft. The pieces take their shapes from that: a snake mid-coil, a condor feather, a dune's curve.
Sterling silver, plated in warm 18K yellow gold. This is the one collection in the studio that is not solid gold, and that is what makes it possible. These are wide, volumetric forms. A cuff like this in solid gold would be a piece you take out twice a year. In silver it is a piece you can wear every day.
