A large white pearl sitting inside a ring of gold rather than on top of it. The pearl is held from below at a single point, and nothing touches it anywhere else. Look at it from above, and you see gold, air, then pearl, which is where the name comes from.
That is the whole engineering problem of this ring. The pearl is drilled from underneath only; a gold pin runs into the hole and is bonded with a dedicated pearl adhesive, and the arm carrying that pin is thickened where the load sits so the pearl stays exactly centred in the opening. There are no prongs, no bezel, and no second point of contact.
I carve the form in wax first, then cast it in one piece. The band splits into two lines that cross behind the pearl and open into the circle that frames it. Because the ring is open at the back, it stacks easily against other rings on the same finger.
One face of the gold is given a fine brushed texture; the other is left highly polished, so the two lines read differently as they wind around one another.
The pearl is a white bouton, 16 mm, round and flattened on one face, with a clean, even surface. The ring measures about 20 mm across at its widest point.
This one has sold. I can make it again with another bouton pearl of the same size from my own stock. Made in 18K or 14K gold, in yellow, white, or rose.

Personal Orders
At LAYANI FINE JEWELRY, each custom design is created with great care, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to translating your vision into a one-of-a-kind piece. This process requires time, expertise, and dedicated resources from the initial concept stage.
To begin the design process, a deposit of $600 is required for each rendering. This fee covers the creative and technical work involved in developing a detailed 3D visualization of your piece.
If multiple design directions are requested, a separate $600 fee will be charged for each individual rendering, as each concept involves its own creative and development process.
In the case of particularly complex or advanced models, additional design fees may apply. These will be reviewed and approved with the client in advance.
Clients who proceed with a final order will not be charged for the rendering(s)—the full deposit amount will be credited toward the cost of the finished piece.
However, if the client decides to cancel the order after the renderings have been completed, the deposit(s) are non-refundable, as they compensate for the time and effort already invested in the design process.
This policy ensures fairness and transparency while respecting the value of custom work. We are dedicated to creating an enjoyable and collaborative experience and are always here to answer questions or discuss your vision.
Shipping
All our products are shipped with secure delivery methods.
You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Please make sure the returned product is carefully wrapped and provide a tracking number for all returned items. We are not responsible for lost items coming back to our offices.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Duty and Taxes

Orders are subject to local VAT (Value Added Tax) and Import Fees. Payment of VAT and Import fees is the sole responsibility of the Client. We recommend contacting your local customs office for charges before ordering.
Customs policies and import duties may vary from country to country.
VAT and Customs costs are nonrefundable.
LAYANI Fine Jewelry benefits from lower (or none) rates of duty as part of the EUR.1 movement certificate.
Product Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies to each item of jewelry, and only for each item of jewelry, purchased from LAYANI Fine Jewelry.
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship.
LAYANI Fine Jewelry will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
Repairs or warranty services performed by someone other than LAYANI Fine Jewelry, conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
Returns & refunds
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Items Not Eligible
The Limited Editions, Special Orders, One Of A Kind Items, Sales Items and Gift Cards are not eligible for refunds.
Returns
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
You are responsible for all shipping & tracking costs.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
