Product Details
Eimy came to the bench as a single engagement ring. A french-set halo holding a 0.50 carat natural diamond, with forty four round diamonds running through the halo and down the shoulders, 0.94 carat in all. One and a half carats of light, on a band narrow enough to disappear on the hand.
Before the wedding I suggested something to her husband. A matching band, shaped to hold the engagement ring rather than sit beside it, and a diamond set into it for every child they would have. He ordered the first one. A year later he came back for the second band on the other side, and for the first diamond.
Today they have three children and three diamonds.
Choose above whether you are ordering the engagement ring or a matching band. Most people start the way this couple did. The engagement ring first, a band later, the diamonds when there is something to mark.
The engagement ring
- Metal: 18K or 14K white gold
- Center stone: 0.50 CT natural diamond
- Halo and shoulders: 44 round brilliant diamonds, 0.94 CT total
- Total carat weight: 1.44 CT
- Carved in wax and cast by hand in our Jerusalem studio
The matching band
The band is contoured to sit against the engagement ring rather than beside it, and is priced individually. Order one for a single side, or two to close the ring from both. Each band arrives unset, so it stays open for whatever comes. Setting diamonds into it, one at a time or all at once, is quoted separately.
How it is made
The halo is french-set, which means each diamond is held in a cut-out rather than a bead, so light passes through the metal from the side as well as the top. It is slower to make and it is the reason the ring reads as bright rather than heavy. Every piece is carved in wax and cast in the studio. Made to order, allow 3 to 4 weeks.
Other options
The prices above are for the ring as shown, with a 0.50 CT center diamond. A larger center stone, a lab grown diamond, a colored gemstone, or yellow or rose gold are all possible and quoted individually. Write to us and we will price it before anything is made.

Shipping
Every order leaves my Jerusalem studio by FedEx or DHL Express, insured and signed for, door to door. There are no exceptions to this.
How long a piece takes to leave the studio depends on what it is:
- In stock: within 3 business days
- Made to order: about two weeks
- One of a Kind and commissions: agreed with you before work begins
Once a parcel is collected it usually goes on a flight the same day, and reaches most destinations within 1 to 3 days. Customs processing can add time, and that part is outside my control.
Duties and Taxes
Orders shipped outside Israel may be subject to local VAT and import duties. These are set by your own country and are your responsibility as the recipient, not mine. They are separate from the price you paid me and are not refundable.
Rates vary from country to country. If the amount matters to your decision, check with your local customs office before you order.
Commissions and Custom Design
Every commission begins with a design fee of $250 USD for each rendering. This pays for the time I spend developing a detailed 3D visualization of your piece, usually several days of work.
The fee covers up to three rounds of revisions on that rendering. Further revisions are $80 USD each, agreed with you in advance.
If you request more than one design direction, each rendering carries its own $250 fee, because each one is a separate piece of work.
When you go ahead with the order, the full amount you paid in design fees is credited against the price of the finished piece. You do not pay twice.
If you decide not to proceed after a rendering is complete, the fee is not refunded. The work has already been done.
The design itself, including every rendering and drawing I produce, remains my work and my property. It is sent to you so you can approve the piece, and it is not licensed for production by anyone else.
Particularly complex models may carry an additional design fee. I will tell you before starting, never after.
Returns, Refunds and Warranty
In short: ready-made pieces from the catalogue can be returned within 14 days, unworn and in their original packaging. Pieces made to order, One of a Kind pieces and commissions cannot, because each one was made for a specific person. Every piece I make is covered against defects in material and workmanship.
The full terms are set out in my return and refund policy, my shipping policy, and sections 5A to 5C of my terms of service. If something is wrong with your order, write to me before anything else. I would rather fix it than have you keep a piece you are unhappy with.
